We’re excited to bring this much-loved event back to Edinburgh’s iconic Parish Church of St Cuthbert on Saturday, 25 January 2025, featuring Carl Orff’s renowned Carmina Burana.
Be part of an exhilarating musical experience as we unite singers and music enthusiasts from across Scotland and beyond to perform this powerful masterpiece.
Stephen Doughty, Chorus Director of the RSNO
Led by Stephen Doughty, Chorus Director of the RSNO, you’ll also have the chance to work alongside exceptional soloists: Anna Marmion (Soprano), Christian Schneeberger (Tenor), and Phil Gault (Bass), with Stuart Hope on piano and David Goodenough on organ.
You will spend the day learning the piece with the support of Stephen and his musicians. We’ll finish with an extraordinary concert at 5pm, open to the public—and featuring YOU!
Open to all voices and abilities, whether you’re familiar with Carmina Burana or eager to dive into its dynamic choruses for the first time—you’ll be warmly welcomed!
